Description This replacement screw-in lens is for the Altimaster Galaxy and Stratosphere altimeters only. This is a clear lens and is easy to install. It is important not to push down on the lens when you are removing the old lens or inserting a new one, pushing down locks the lens into the thread and makes it difficult to turn. If you have any problem in removing a lens we suggest you use a “sticky pad” such as the type used for removing the lids of jars. Note: the older Altimaster III lens can only be replaced at the factory.
